Johna Metcalf joined Rural Action as the Leadership and Service Program Manager in 2022. Prior to joining as an AmeriCorps manager, she served out of the Northern Programs office in Tuscarawas County as a VISTA from 2021 -2022. Johna is excited to share her passion for service and hopes to uplift and support service members just like she was during her term.
Johna received her B.A. in History from Kent State University. When Johna is not recruiting AmeriCorps members, she can be found making a mean skillet of saurkeraut and brats or returning from the movies.
