Bailey Borland recently joined the team at Rural Action as part of Live Healthy Kids finding its home with Rural Action in June 2023. She oversees and manages the Live Healthy Kids (LHK) program, working with 2nd graders in Athens County. They learn the importance of eating real food, physical activity, and overall health.
She is continuing this work having already served in this role as part of Live Healthy Appalachia. She is excited to be a part of the Rural Action Sustainable Agriculture team and hopes to grow LHK’s programming with them. Bailey is passionate about serving her community with services and programs to help better their lifestyles with healthy food programs and active living.
She enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Roscoe and Rocky. She also enjoys spending time outside, whether it’s walking the dogs, visiting the dog park, kayaking, hiking, you name it, she’s out there! Lastly, she is a big foodie, loves to shop, likes anything pink, enjoys a good book and her ultimate favorite — loves being a dog mom.
