Andrea Baird is an Ohio lady. She transitioned from the hustle and bustle of Columbus’ big city life to slow down and seek a more intentional lifestyle in the beautiful rolling hills of Athens, OH in 2017. First and foremost she is a lover of live music, outdoor recreation and making friends.
Andrea received her degree from Hocking College in Applied Business in Music Management, where she discovered her love for event planning and community organization. In the year of 2020 it dawned on her that she could shift her skillset to the nonprofit world and use these powers for good and help create a lasting, positive impact for the community that she was growing to love. She founded a successful regional community festival called Skate Jam that raises funds for free youth programming and the Athens local skatepark.
Andrea is exceptionally extroverted and finds true joy in getting to know new people and developing relationships. She is excited to lend her fundraising experience and love for human connections to the Development Director position.
