About the Program
Rural Action’s Zero Waste program prides itself on ensuring that nothing that could be reused goes to waste. In the case of medical supplies, we take an extreme amount of caution, coupled with a plethora of experience, to make absolutely certain that the medical supplies we receive via our donation program finds its way into the hands of individuals who need them the most.
The medical supplies that we collect ranges from used crutches, wheelchairs, hospital beds and bedframes, as well as more expensive devices like CPAPs and Hoyer Lift. We also accept and redistribute new and unopened soft goods like bandages, adult diapers, gauze. All of these items can be accepted into our medical donation program. We do not accept any expired items, RX drugs, or used medical waste like sharps. Here is a list of donation sites, please call or email us if you need assistance donating an item:

Medical Supplies Request Form
The team at Rural Action Zero Waste cares about our community and wants to help by providing free essential medical supplies. We have a variety of items available, including used medical equipment like wheel chairs, walkers, and crutches, as well as sealed items like bandages and incontinence underwear. All items are offered ‘as is’.
If you need these supplies, please fill out our Medical Supplies Request Form. We’ll then check our inventory to see if we have what you need. Please understand that our stock levels change, so we might not always have everything that is listed at all times.
