Join Rural Action for a Watershed Tour on Saturday, April 17 from 10 a.m. -2 p.m. (This event was originally scheduled last fall but was canceled at the time because of rising COVID-19 cases in Ohio.)

This will be a drive-it-yourself tour with speakers at each of the four stops. The topics include:

  • Abandoned Coal Mines
  • Dams on our Rivers and Streams
  • Boat Ramps and Water Trails
  • Industrial Pollution in the Tusc

Participants must wear face masks when outside their cars and interacting with Rural Action staff.

Please bring any clean green or clear 2-liter plastic bottles you have. The Solid Waste Management District is trying to collect at least 3,000 for a community garden.

A detailed map will be sent to your email address closer to the time of the event. The first 20 people to visit at least two sites, will receive a local meal voucher, and if you visit all five sites, you will become a Rural Action member!
