The Appalachian Clean Transportation (ACT) Initiative aims to engage a network of economic development partners, industry specialists, and statewide policy experts to plan implementation strategies that bring clean transportation infrastructure and development to Appalachian Ohio.
With grant funding from the Joyce Foundation, the goal is to bridge the gap in services, infrastructure and resources available to the region and accelerate demand for clean transportation. Through four regional conferences in Athens, Jackson, Ross, and Muskingum Counties, the ACT Initiative builds leadership and key networks to move regional clean transportation policy and planning work forward.
