Rural Action’s Sunday Creek Watershed, Monday Creek Watershed, and Environmental Education Programs offer four summer day camps each year. The camp is a week of fun-filled adventure for children: exploring streams, engaging in service projects, learning about the environment through games, visiting with area professionals, and eating freshly prepared local food!

Spring Break Day Camp: Multiple Locations | AGES 7-12

Ready for a nature break over spring break? Send the kids to a day in the woods with Rural Action! We’ll explore the woods and creeks, playing and learning about ecology and survival skills. It’s a perfect day for any kid who loves animals, nature, forts or adventures.

Groups were limited to 8 kids and 2 adults, and were entirely outside. Camps were scheduled for several dates in March and April 2021 near Albany, Glouster, and Nelsonville/Logan.

Look for Spring Break Day Camps again in 2022!

2021 Watershed Camps

Get ready for another year that gets campers wet and muddy. Campers will swim with crawdads in swimming holes, turn over rocks to find salamanders, and learn how to build different types of shelters such as the lean-to.
