Tuscarawas Event Focuses on Small Businesses

Small business owners in southern Tuscarawas County can learn about business resources, websites, and community development during the Small Business Social from 5:30-7 p.m. on May 5 in Dennison.

The event will be held at the Streetside Center (formerly the Masonic Lodge), 416 Center Street in Dennison, and will feature a panel of speakers, which includes

  • Dan Vorisek, Rural Action Resilient Communities Director, who will speak about the Kiva loan platform and community development in Appalachia.
  • Mary Popa, Rural Action Resilient Communities, will discuss website design.
  • Stephen Schilling, Small Business Development Center, will talk about the resources his office can provide.
