Early bird registration for the Birds in the Hills Festival is underway, offering a chance to save 25% to 33% on admission to this three-day family friendly celebration of our feathered friends.
“Whether you love warblers, owls, or early morning birdsong, we have you covered,” says Rural Action Tourism Specialist Madison Donohue, who runs Appalachian Understories, the host of this year’s event. “The fact that we’re holding the festival at Camp Oty’Okwa provides numerous opportunities for us to get out in the woods to see birds in their natural habitat, and the campground is a great place to gather around the fire in the evenings to listen to live music and talk about the day’s sightings.”
The festival will be held Mother’s Day weekend, May 6-8, and features plenty of activities for children. The Early BIrd discounts run through March 20, the Spring Equinox. Click below to see the schedule of events and to buy your tickets.
