Jilly Anderson is Multimedia Manager

Jilly Anderson joined Rural Action as the Multimedia Manager. Jilly came to Rural Action as an AmeriCorps VISTA member in January 2022 before transitioning into her new role.
Jilly grew up in the hills of Appalachia after moving to Gallia County in 2010. Always passionate about community service and development, Jilly attended Ohio University and completed her bachelor’s in War and Peace studies and Political Science in 2021. Although her background was heavily focused on international aid, Jilly found herself wanting to shift her focus to addressing the issues she saw in her own community. She began researching broadband access in Athens and the surrounding area, before shifting her focus to environmental activism.
Jilly is a farmer’s daughter, skater girl, and lover of French marigolds.
