Send Cute Critter Cards to Your Valentines
Rural Action’s Watershed program is selling Cute Critter Cards for Valentine’s Day that will help fund riparian tree planting along the Tuscarawas River.
The area targeted for tree planting is eroding fast — according to Google Earth, about 25 feet of land was lost between 2012 and 2015. Slowing this land loss will significantly decrease the sediment load in the river as well as provide additional wildlife habitat.
The cards come in packs of 8 and cost $10 plus tax and shipping, bringing the total to $11.40.
