Invest Appalachia Making Great Strides
“What will it take to accelerate the flow of impact capital into Central Appalachia to achieve transformative economic, social, and health outcomes for the region?”
This was the key question during a 2016 meeting in West Virginia. Five years later, a social investment fund, Invest Appalachia, now exists and organizations are working together to increase the pipeline of investable deals. Rural Action CEO Debbie Phillips is among the board members of Invest Appalachia.
