Help Wanted: Community Makerspace Manager
Rural Action seeks to hire a full-time manager for The Community Makerspace at UpCycle Ohio. Key duties include oversight of all activities and daily operations of the Makerspace.
The Makerspace Manager will work with the project partners to promote a culture of entrepreneurship and upcycling, support entrepreneurs and small businesses to grow jobs and wealth in our region, and create a thriving Makerspace. They will work with the Social Enterprise Director and Rural Action program directors to increase the number of active paying members, course offerings, and store sales. The Makerspace Manager will assist in pursuing diverse revenue streams including grant funding, sales, and private donor contributions. The selected candidate will work closely with the Makerspace Advisory Committee and serve as a liaison to the partner organizations.
