Keynote speaker Bob Beyfuss will present “Income Opportunities From Forested Land”

Registration is now open for the Southern Ohio Forest Farming Conference, which will be held Aug. 27-29 at United Plant Savers Botanical Sanctuary in Rutland, Ohio.

The conference will provide participants with opportunities to learn about multiple forest farming topics and strategies, including wild simulated ginseng, goldenseal, and mushroom cultivation, post-harvest handling considerations for herb producers, as well as herb walks and value-added product demonstrations. The conference has a line-up of highly experienced teachers who will help participants gain a broad understanding of the many facets and opportunities of forest farming.

Bob Beyfuss, the keynote speaker, will discuss “Income Opportunities From Forested Land.” Other speakers include:
