Bryn Sowash is Rural Action’s National Service Program Planner
Bryn Sowash joined the team this year to help develop an expansion of Rural Action’s National Service programming. Specifically looking to increase the team’s capacity to address the climate emergency, Bryn works with Program Directors and external partners to ensure projects have the resources and support they need to thrive.
Before joining Rural Action, Bryn served on the Senior Leadership Team at a small technology company, helping to develop new initiatives and providing operational support to clients and internal teams. Her background in service spans from an AmeriCorps term in college to cycling for affordable housing with Bike and Build to leading the National Conference for Women in Economic and Leadership Development.
At home, Bryn enjoys gardening, making music, practicing yoga, tending to her bee hives, and spending as much time outside as possible with her daughter, husband, and two dogs.
