Job Opening: AHRC Seeks a Community Education Liaison

Athens-Hocking Recycling Centers (AHRC) is looking to hire a Community Education Liaison, a new, part-time, temporary grant-funded position.

“The primary focus of this position is rural public recycling drop off locations across Athens and Hocking Counties,” according to AHRC. The successful candidate will “educate rural residents on proper recycling practices through a comprehensive in-person, print, and digital campaign around recycling contamination issues, such as not bagging recycling or how to properly recycle batteries, which do not belong in curbside recycling.”
