We can’t wait to see you on September 16th at 12pm Eastern!

Thank you so much for registering for our annual fundraiser. This year will be different, as so many things are. We appreciate your willingness to stay involved even when we can’t gather to celebrate in person. Our event will last one hour, from 12 pm to 1 pm Eastern Time.

We have made a lot of changes this year to respond to the pandemic, and we hope you’ll be proud to be part of that response. We look forward to sharing some of these stories during our event. We’re also making progress on some big projects, like True Pigments and the Makerspace, and look forward to sharing more about our progress soon!

In Your Package

Hopefully, your package has arrived in the mail! We appreciate Maureen from Herbal Sage Tea and Jane from Dirty Girl Coffee for working with us to provide a selection of locally sourced beverages for our event, and we hope you’ll enjoy a cup of tea or coffee during the event as we gather to share some reflections and inspiration. In your package, you will also find your personalized pledge card and a return envelope with postage. Please complete your pledge card, place it in the return envelope, and drop it in the mail. It’s that easy!

If you have a current pledge with Rural Action, your pledge information will be indicated on your card. If you have any questions about the information in your package, how to donate, or if you’d like to talk about other ways to be involved, please reach out to Debbie Phillips at Debbie@ruralaction.org

Watch Our Video!

Each year, we produce a video that highlights some of the great work happening at Rural Action. We plan to show the following video during our event, but if we experience technical difficulties or our Internet connection slows, we wanted to provide the video here for you as well. We are proud of the work that is happening this year, and three really great stories are included in this video about how Rural Action has pivoted to respond to community needs during the COVID-19 pandemic. This year’s stories include a member-inspired, member-supported regional resilience fund; expanded local food access into West Virginia; and environmental education for kids, virtually!
