This two-part training will help you succeed in the short-term rental market using the Airbnb platform. If you are interested in sharing space with travelers to Southeast Ohio, join us to learn best practices designed for rural locations on how to list your properties and start earning income. Each session will be led by an Airbnb superhost from Athens County and will highlight Athens County-specific tax and regulation requirements. However, non-Athens County residents are also encouraged to attend.
Important: This is the first session of training; the second session will be held May 12 from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. There is a $20 fee for this training, which covers both sessions.
The hands-on workshop will teach participants how to:
- Develop an Airbnb listing
- Market their property
- Understand local taxes and regulations
- Connect with local tourism efforts for maximum visibility
