Do you have an old mattress or rechargeable batteries lying around waiting to be recycled? Now is your chance. Marietta Area Recycling Center (MARC) is spearheading a recycling drop-off at the Peoples Bank Parking Lot on the corner of Gilman and Putnam Streets in Harmar from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 10 as a part of the Marietta Earth Day Celebration.
The drop-off will focus on difficult to recycle items (click to see full list). Residents also can drop off 30-gallon bags of trash, which will cost $3/each.
