Rick Hindman

Rick is originally from New Martinsville, West Virginia. He joined the U.S. Army in 1987 and served as a commissioned officer from 1988 to 1993, stationed in Europe for four years as the Deputy Installation Commander over two American bases in Kitzingen, Germany. In this position he directed community operations for these bases while providing liaison services between the German and American communities. He has been employed with Buckeye Hills-Hocking Valley Regional Development District since February 1994, during which time he has held the positions of Community Development Specialist, Development Director, Area Agency on Aging Director, and Assistant Executive Director. He lives with his wife Terrie in Marietta and has two grown daughters.
