Cherokee Valley Bison Ranch, in partnership with Women Grow Ohio and Rural Action, will hold their second bison farming workshop on Saturday, October 15 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The event will be located at Cherokee Valley Bison Ranch (12320 Lonesome Road Thornville, OH 43076).
The workshop will cover various topics around bison farming including Why Raise Bison, Fencing and Pasture, Health and Vet Care, Calving, Processing, and Lessons Learned. The workshop will include a farm tour of Cherokee Valley Bison Ranch. The cost of the workshop is $100 and includes a bison chili lunch.
